The Meyah Vetiver is one of our very special single oil offerings. Nested deep in the West Papuan Jungle, the Village of the Meyah Tribe has recently started getting involved in different sustainable community development projects in order to preserve its independence amongst the rapidly growing Indonesian culture, one of these projects was the cultivation of vetiver in order to preserve the road connecting their village to the nearby civilized area of West Papua, as a secondary project resulting from the successful growth of vetiver, the tribe has gotten involved in small scale distillation of their newly abundant crop. The wonders of the Meyah Vetiver is based on the fact that upon analysis of the oil yielded from their local distillation plant, lab results have indicated very significant amounts of the compound called "agarofuran". Agarofuran is not a compound that has ever been found in Vetiver, but is one of the compounds common in Agarwood oil, making this Vetiver very mysterious and unique compared to other vetivers. There are many scientific research published on the effects that changing environment has on different living body, but it is is quite uncommon to witness the mutation of such a species within a single generation of growth. If you are a lover of vetiver, do not miss the chance to experience this unique vetiver, it carries a dimension that is truly unlike any other vetivers out there.
